The most common fix I found for this is to insert the Win XP disk and repair Win XP. It is programmed to boot off of HDD 1, and should be getting backed up into HDD2. The computer has two hard drives (primary HDD1 and secondary HDD2). Am I able to fix the issue without reformatting the hard drive? ![]() The computer is a server for a network, and has important information on it that has not been backed up. ![]() Immediately after a power outage, when the computer turned back on, it desplayed error stating My father has a Dell PC with windows XP (he doesn't know if it's pro or home). Hello all! I would like to warn everyone of the impending wall of text.
